If your child is very difficult to eat and always act food picky, do not entirely blame the kids, they might become like that because it mimics you as a parent. Actually, your child could be eating a variety of healthy foods if they see you do the same thing every day. So, the best way to teach kids eating habits is by give example to them. You must be a role model for them, show to them that you are also do not like to be picky food.

You must give a good example to children, do not ever talk about diet when in the dining room with your child. If you’re on a diet and it’s time for dinner, you have to eat because it will give a good example for them. If you are afraid of children are overweight, you can limit the size of the meal and not overeating. This also will be imitated by children.

Things that you should not do to children are:

  1. Do not force children to spend their food. Because this will make the kids override feelings of fullness.
  2. Do not give food as gifts for children. You should avoid using dessert as a reward for eating the main meal.
  3. Do not use food to show affection. If we want to show affection, hugs or praise them occasionally.

  1. Involve children in planning the menu, either to eat at school or for dinner. You can teach the children how to make choices and plan a balanced meal. Encourage the child to help you shop and cook so that they can make good decisions about their food choices.
