Do children need to go on a diet? The answer is certainly yes. Diet does not mean a program to help children lose weight but also to regulate eating habits of children. It is very necessary to be taken by parents to solve overweight that occurs to children today.

Healthy Diet for Children can do when they have been aged seven years. The age of seven years is a period of life where a child can understand the need for eating when feeling hungry or when receiving education about food from parents and caregivers. Early school age is amazing period for teaching children a good diet. That is the perfect age to diet.

But at that age, children are still less sensitive to the foods they eat. Children often face the problem of bad eating habits. Without adequate supplies of knowledge, they will be vulnerable to bad influences from outside, such as teachers, classmates, siblings, or friends.

If you consider that the other children or even teachers giving wrong advice about diet, do not hesitate to call it. Tell him not to give bad influence on your child’s mistaken advice. For example, other children eating sweet foods and drinks cold in a very large portion, so your child can see it as an ideal diet.
