Provide Healthy Eating for Kids so that they can grow properly. The growth is not only in terms of physical, cognitive development into consideration also the parents. All parents must want children can grow up to be healthy and smart. Therefore, they want to ensure the food provided may improve the ability of a child’s brain.

For that, we must pay attention to Kid Nutrition, especially on the food provided, whether the child can increase the ability to think or not? That the food contained in the list, it contains a very good nutrient for brain development. The following are 7 Nutrition for the Brain which very important for children:

1. Protein. This substance serves to help the growth of cells and brain function and protection against infection. While the amino acid acts as a neurotransmitter or nerve stimulate introductory material substance, and affect behavior, such as emotions, self control and concentration.

Essential amino acid is a type of amino acid needed by the body but the body can not produce it themselves and obtained from food intake, for example, among others, are Cystine and Lysine.

2. Fat. The brain contains many membrane layer of fat. In order for the brain to function properly required in omega 3 and omega 6. Omega 3 fatty acids and omega 6 that contains in mother’s milk, fish oil, and fish have important role in improving the intelligence of children.

3. Omega 3. Alpha-linoleic acid are included in the group of polyunsaturated fatty acid long chain (Long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid = LCPUFA). LCPUFA are major makers of nervous system. 4. Omega 6. Represents LCPUFA. Omega 6 acid converted into Arakhidonat (AA). AA serves as an introduction between nerve cells and helps stimulate brain development. Omega 6 can be found in soybean oil.

5. Carbohydrate. Carbohydrates are the source of power or energy substances. Much-needed energy the brain as an energy source of brain cells and nerve cord formation of the brain to process thought. Carbohydrates also serve to capture and store data in the memory of the brain. Carbohydrate sources easily found on basic foodstuffs, like rice, bread, wheat, and biscuits.

6. Vitamins. Vitamins play a role in brain growth and development of infants and toddlers as well as the formation and development of brain cells function, such as Vitamin A role in assisting the formation and growth in nerve cell. Vitamin A is widely available on the carrots, beef liver, chicken liver, oranges and spinach.

So also with vitamin B6 which plays a role in helping the process of metabolism of amino acids (protein) which is one of the components to build a brain. Neurotransmitter formation process is also assisted by this vitamin.

7. Mineral. Minerals are elements that help to complement growth and development of infants and toddlers. The types of minerals needed for brain development is a sodium, potassium, calcium, iron, zinc, iodine and sodium chloride. Just mention sodium, potassium and calcium plays a role in the process of neurotransmitter from one cell to another nerve cell, including brain cells. Other minerals, is namely iron (Fe) serve for the formation of myelin (the protective membrane fatty axon).
